Az Art’n’Go projekt Lilleben indult 2009 szeptemberében az Európai Unió Kultúra programjának támogatásával lehetőséget biztosítva a fiatal tehetségeknek a fejlődésre és egy olyan fenntarható, hosszú távon is életképes produkció létrehozására, amelyet 2011 májusa és augusztusa között Európa számos országában neves fesztiválokon mutathattak be. A ROOTS & ROUTES Art’n’Go csapatának kreatív munkája jógyakorlatként szolgál a többi hasonló kezdeményezés számára és reprezentálja a kulturális különbségek nyújtotta gazdagságot a nemzetközi ROOTS & ROUTES „család” segítségével.

Ezek a munkák olyan fiatal tehetséges művészek ötleteiből születtek, akik korábban már részt vettek ROOTS & ROUTES nemzetközi programokon és kiváló hozzáállásukkal, kreativitásukkal és motiváltságukkal biztosították a saját helyüket ebben a nagy munkát igénylő produkcióban, és most saját maguk lehettek a produkciójuk szerzői, rendezői és menedzserei, koordinátorai.

A résztvevő országok közé tartozik Magyarország, Románia, Olaszország, Németország, Franciaország, Hollandia, Svédország, Spanyolország, Görögország, Belgium és az Egyesült Királyság.

A projekt egyik központi témája a Kelet- és Nyugat-Európa közötti kulturális párbeszéd erősítése. Ennek okán a Sziget Kulturális Menedzser Iroda Kft. lett az Art’n’Go vezető szervezője, amely szervezet a Sziget Fesztivál megrendezéséért felelős minden évben augusztusban Budapesten és nagy szerepet vállalnak a „hídépítésben” Kelet-Európa irányában a ROOTS & ROUTES hálóján keresztül is.
