We are looking for talented Poetry Slammers, Rappers, Actors & Actresses

Grab the chance to spend three days with Slam Poetry performer Black Ice ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SY7pM8k8moY ) and actress Dahlia Pesse
Miers-Benamar
in Atwerp (Belgium) by attending the EUtropia workshop „Slam Poetry meets Theatre“. The workshop will mainly focus on writing lyrics and poems, and on the transfer of emotion to the audience.

Date: 04.04.-08.04.2012

Place: Antwerp (Belgium)

The workshop will be held within the frame of the EUtropia project. In this project a multidisciplinary stage performance was developed during a 4-month-long residency in Denmark in 2011. This performance will be “re-invented” and re-created in the following months, by travelling through different European countries, and by involving new artists and new artistic disciplines.
It's not a tour of a show, but rather a tour of a story/idea/script, that is constantly evolving on its travel.
In the EUtropia Antwerp Step, participants will work mainly new lyrics poems and on the development of the acting scenes.

About the coaches:
Black Ice has participated in numerous events such as Live 8 concert in Philadelphia, and gave several television appearances on BET and NBC. He was also seen in five consecutive seasons of Def Poetry Jam HBOS. The New York Post gave him the best possible score for his performances. He has worked with Pete Rock, Method Man and Fabolous.
