A promising singer who was born in a small village Berkel en Rodenrijs near the big, multicultural city Rotterdam. She first fell in love with music on the moments her dad plays the guitar and heard the high notes of her aunt singing the opera!
She heard the sounds blues. jazz and salsa from the radio and graduatly her love for music grew. She started dancing in styles like Classic and Jazz ballet. Street-dance. and the Caribbean dances like Salsa and Samba. During her primary school she started acting and singing in musicals
With some friends she started the music group Girls4, where she wrote her first song for the group.

Nanda always loved writing. From the age 8 till 12 she wrote four diaryies about her life. Not convinced of her singing skills her mom encouraged to tell her 'Just Sing' So she began practicing with songs by Alicia Keys,Christina Aquilera and took vocal lessons. She moved to the city center in Rotterdam where she loved all the different colors and all the different music styles that she heard. So she had her first vocal lesson in a R&B workshop. There was a lot of work to do to become a good artist. She enterd a saturday acting school in her new home town where she could sing, dance and act together. After 2 big playes she became a fulltime artist at a theatre group Young Stage where she did 80 performances a year.

In 2006 she started to be a proffesional musician on a music/producer school.
Where her songwriting and musician skilss improves.
Right now Nanda is a backing vocalist in diffrent bands like Poisen Ivy. She teach vocal lessons and acts in a excentric theatre production Alcatraz and she
will have her debut album in 2008!
