Hello!

How should I start it?
If you ask some people, how I am, the first thing, what comes is: hurry or perpetuum mobile.

I’m Anna Kerényi, now I study at the University of Veterinary like biologist and at the University of Sports like dance teacher. I have right now 9 groups with 18-19 years old pupils to prepare for the Schoolleaver’s Ball in different styles. My past has many colours too: I played a violin for 13 years, I write novels and short stories, and I’ve done many kind of dance-styles.

17 years ago I started with RG (Rhythmic Gimnastic), I did it for 8years, then I did folk dance (4 years), ballroom dances, rock&roll (4 years), I had a year with hip-hop, and then I’ve met with my love: modern, jazz and musical. I also do ballett, and I’m itchy, because I think, that the good dancer and choreographer has to feel herself home in different styles, she have to able to create new from many experiances, she has bricks to build strong fund without reference to time, surround and circumstances. I aspire to this.

My leader is Tamás Kocsis, the solodancer of Operett Theater of Budapest. I’m so thankful to have the chance to work with him! And I also attend different courses, for example Raza Hammadi, GergÅ‘ Aczél, Zoltán Fodor, Oktávia Szigeti, and so on. And I must to say ’thank you’ to the R&R-team too, because they have seen me with love in Budapest, in Rotterdam and in Remscheid.

I have so many plans. 5 years ago we establish a company with some other young people, and from nothing we made a show – Webber’s Cats on the stage. We had many performances around the country. This is a determining experiance of my life, because all the things were ours: we made the costumes, the scenes, we organized the technically thing, we painted our faces, we made our wigs, and we have danced and we had sung – together, the choreography, what I made!

Since this project I surely know: nothing is impossible! And I believe, that the great dreams will be come true too: the own dance-school, help in relationships with dance and ethic, dance-performances, musicals, the service for youngs and kids!

I like to dance, to learn and to teach - I really like, what I do.

But I want to do it better, I like to recieve every small pieces, if I have possibility, and I like to stay a member of the Roots&Routes-family. I’ve got such friendships in R&R, which aren’t know frontiers, borders, such friends, who are there, if I need some help, or discussion – even if they are 2000 kilometres far from here, and even if they speaks other languages. Such friends, who are teachers too for me. Such masters, who makes me able to develop, and such experiances, what aren’t like others.

It will be like a dream comes true, if I could take part in this project, and if I could be on the stage with our feelings, our products and with this amazing people again.

Roots means for me always: happy time, development, the place, where I can be myself, fellowship and creation. And these values are so important.

I really like to meet with my old friends again, to know new talented people, to be in international surrounding, to develop, to learn, and to say henceforward: I’m a ROOT!

Coloured Life in Fabbrica Europe (Rough Cut)

How do you see the world around you?
Do you know what is really important?
Or could you give up one part of your life for another one?

You expect from other people to manage their lives better – but are you able to change?
Everything is just a matter of viewpoints. You have your choice.
The only question is this: are you brave enough to explore the colours of the world?
