Video director, self-taught in the digital treatment of image, Xavier Bourlard, age 38, develops his artistic search (research) from plans (shots) of camera on danced movements, natural elements and special effects and joins in the lineage of Nam June PAIK.
Author of documentaries and reports, live director for : M6 Music Live and Fun TV, fashion shows, inaugurations of exhibitions (Museum of Modern Art Strasbourg, Showroom TOYOTA in Paris, ART IN LIFE - Hong-Kong).
1995, création of performances for festivals: video TAMERUKOÏ Live (mixing of images projected on huge screens in interaction with the music). In five years, more than 100 live were given in all France as well as in the Euroregion
1998, creation of PURPLE and shows allying video, plastic arts, performance and dances. Since, he continues to develop the concept of Video Live, works on interactive video installations and on "interactive" video & dances shows
2004, work for" Lille 2004, European Capital of the Culture”, notably the audiovisual production of the exposition VASARELY "Op’art", (creation of video animations from the initial works of the artist.
