The ROOTS&ROUTES Summer Course was all about empowerment of young talents: 22 young people from Cologne and all over Germany developed 12 own songs and 3 choreographies, and they produced a lavish music video.
Highlights of the three intense workshop weeks included masterclasses with the German reggae star Nosliw and rapper Def Benski, who had reached #2 of the German charts with his crew Die Firma in 2005; as well as performances at S.O.M.A. festival Cologne and Juicy Beats festival Dortmund. At the final multi-camera live videoshow all highlights from the three weeks were presented.
