European Music Day in Greece and R&R Germany

The
European Music Day is a free live music celebration of the summer solstice, held every 21st June in many European cities and worldwide. During the last 10 years, the E.M.D. festival has become in Greece a rapidly expanding network, involving more than 24 cities.
For the very first time this year, E.M.D. was celebrated in Larissa due to the initiative of S.Mou.Th. (). From 21st to 23rd June, the city was vibrating under the rhythm and melodies of all musical genres.
The European Music Day in Larissa, in numbers:

7 Greek cities (Athens, Volos, Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Katerini, Larissa, Preveza)

4 European countries (Italy, Denmark, Switzerland, Germany)

3 stages (Central Square, Pinios River, Pantheon Plaza)

4 side events spots (Pantheon Plaza Gallery, Thessalia Commercial Center, Mother’s Square, Ancient Theatre)
In the context of the E.M.D.,
SMouTh invited and presented
Roots&Routes Germany (
Cologne) with performances and workshops in three cities of the network (Larissa, Volos and Thessaloniki) from 20th to 22nd June 2009.
The German talents, Derya (
Derya K), Paloma (
Paloma), Patrick (
TWOFACE) and Eric (
Eric) revealed their dancing skills, impressing the Greek public. Τhank you guys!
