26 young talents with roots in 15 nations took part in the 2006 Winter Course Different Roots – Common Routes with music, dance and media workshops.

Coaches included Xaver Fischer (Keyboard player on charting hits like "Underwater Love" by Smoke City), Jaekwon (winner of several B'boying championships on European level) and Jörg Schürmann (camera man at the famous German late night show TV Total).

The workshops were documented and marked the starting point for the publication Different Roots - Common Routes - Jugendkultur- und Medienarbeit für kulturelle Vielfalt (PDF, about 5MB, only available in German language)

Different Roots – Common Routes was funded by the Northrhine-Westphalian Youth Ministry (MGFFI NRW).
