In 2007, the third and last ROOTS&ROUTES Cologne festival workshop week in the framework of the EU CULTURE 2000 funded ROOTS&ROUTES International project took place. From July 21st to 27th the 28 young talents were coached by professional dancers, musicians and media educators, they created songs with a live band and choreographies that were then presented at Juicy Beats festival Dortmund on July 28th.
ROOTS&ROUTES Cologne 2007 is part of an international network: In ten other European countries other ROOTS&ROUTES partners organize similar activities.
ROOTS&ROUTES Cologne 2007 is funded by the EU programme CULTURE 2000, the Federal German Youth Ministry (programme VIELFALT TUT GUT) and the city of Cologne.
